Before you start

You need a Shopify store on any plan and admin access to install apps. SlotSmith reads your store’s shipping zones on install but does not modify them.

1. Install SlotSmith

Install SlotSmith from the Shopify App Store, then approve the requested scopes during OAuth. SlotSmith creates a slotsmith_settings metafield namespace on your shop and nothing else — no theme files are touched until you publish a zone.

2. Create your first zone

Open SlotSmith → Zones → Create zone, name the zone, and pick the delivery region it should cover. See Creating zones for the full walkthrough, including cutoff times and capacity.

3. Publish to the storefront

Once a zone has at least one rule attached, toggle Published on the zone list. The delivery picker appears automatically on the cart page for matching addresses — no theme edits required for Online Store 2.0 themes.
